It seems that uploading 10 1+ MB images is quite slow if done over HTTP. I guess I have to make an import module that scans an upload directory and import the images to albums or the general album. Developing your own blogging system is not easy, but then again which blogging system would support 1+ MB jpegs properly ;)

After year and a half of development kirichkov.com 2.0 is finally out. The design sucks! As the previous one did. But I promise I’ll try to deliver some nice and fresh content to compensate. TheRSS is working. The image and album uploads are also working. Now you can comment on the stuff I upload and I encourage you to do so. As long as you can keep your tone to my liking ;) You can even login with your OpenID. Unfortunately I found the hard way that your OpenID should send kirichkov.com an e-mail and nickname, but not many do – AOL does, but google and blogger don’t :( Sooo you might have to register – don’t worry I store md5 passwords so I can’t abuse them :)

The road will be bumpy so bear with me and let me know what’s bothering you hear.
